Does the Cinebody capture Super8 quality or HD?

Both! You can choose to filter your films like an original Super8 or shoot in stunning, crisp HD with the aid of optical quality lenses. Add filters after you shoot and change them on the fly!

Does the Cinebody work with phones other than iPhone?

While the Cinebody is currently only compatible with the iPhone (6, 6s, 6 Plus, 6s Plus) we are looking into expanding to additional phones in the future!

When will I get my Cinebody?

We are working hard to deliver the highest quality product we can, while still in a timely manner. We are aiming to ship the original Cinebody (iPhone 6 and 6s) to pre order customers in late March!

Is Cinebody the Lumenati CS1?

Yes! The Lumenati CS1 is now Cinebody!

What type of lenses does the Cinebody use?

The Cinebody is compatible with all 58 mm auxiliary lenses. Use a Cinebody lens, or simply attach one of your own!

The phone slides in sideways but the Cinebody records straight on. What gives?

We use mirror and magnification technology to redirect the iPhone camera through the 58 mm lenses.

Does the viewfinder actually work?

Yes! While in “case mode” the Cinebody app will allow you to use the digital viewfinder to help you record in extreme light.

What frames per second will the Cinebody shoot?

The Cinebody app will let you switch between shooting in 240, 120, 60, 24, and 18 frames per second!

Can I use camera accessories (lights, microphones, etc.) with the Cinebody?

Yes! The Cinebody includes a cold shoe mount to easily attach accessories to improve your filming experience.

Does the Cinebody work with the iPhone 6 Plus/ 6s Plus?

Soon! The Cinebody is currently compatible with the iPhone 6 and 6s. We will be offering pre orders of the Plus model shortly.

I live outside of the United States can I order a Cinebody?

Yes! We can ship the Cinebody smartcase anywhere in the world that the United States Postal Service delivers. Shipping will be added at checkout.

What is the Refund Policy?

What? You want a refund? Not a problem.

Our return and refund policy lasts for 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Just email us at info@cinebody.com with the subject line: Return/Refund. We’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

Please note: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We also will need to see the receipt or original proof of purchase.

Other Details: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Please email us ahead of time at info@cinebody.com before sending us a return.
